E-Books to Download

Although reading a book from a screen may not be the ideal way of how to read a book, it is nevertheless helpful to keep some books in e-format, simply because they have a built in search engine.
To read e-books that you download you must first download either the Acrobat eBook Reader or the Microsoft Reader and activate it. This is a one-time process that lets you download copy-protected ebooks. Both readers are free.
Basically the Adobe eBook Reader is for Macintosh and Windows Systems and the Microsoft Reader for PCs.
E-Books have a built in dictionary, a search engine and, depending on the reader format, audio and video possibilities. Like in a print book you can highlight portions, write in your notes, and use bookmarks. When you return to a book you have read before, the last page you read opens up.
