Glacially eroded bedrock near Triftgletscher, 15. August 2007

Following recession of Triftgletscher, bedrock rich in features of glacial erosion has become accessible. Colourful migmatites (metamorphic rocks that have undergone partial melting) and orange limonite deposits add to the attraction of this area.
