Shaping the landscape

Twelve thousand year-old hummocky moraines in Coire a’ Cheud Cnoic (Corrie of a hundred hills), Glen Torridon, NW Scotland are amongst the best preserved glacial depositional features in Great Britain. Ice flow was from top right to mid-left. The small white cottage in front of the moraines gives the scale. MH
