About SOL

SOL autors meet again, this time also go to Säntis

November 2001 already brings another meeting of SOL authors Roby and Jürg in Eglisau.
This time an excursion leads them to the Säntis: Cool men on a cool mountain.

Note, in the following picture, that Roby sports a glory (Heiligenschein). The glory, in fact, is a bit small. Nevertheless it is guaranteed not to be the result of any image manipulation. Roby, therefore, must be, at least a little bit, a saint ;-) The question arises if the dark thing above Jürg's head is an anti-glory. Who knows, who cares?

Not being familiar with Swiss geology Roby, when travelling up to the summit by cable car, inquired: «Where are the eruptions»? In fact, it is suspected that he was not quite serious. Despite the lack of explosions the view was most spectacular. Most of the Swiss Plateau is under fog. Bad weather is in the South (above Italy).

Also seen from the Säntis is the location of Thomas' home, in fact exactly at the center of the following picture. This foto shows three countires: Switzerland (near), Liechtenstein (middle) and Austria (far).

And here it is, the cool pano of cool folk on a cool mountain ;-)
(for Marco there is a pic also).
BTW note special futuristic Swiss architectural design of summit station. <% VIEW_Footer() %>
