Changes of the Lava Lake between January and July, 2006

In May 2006, an overflow created a new terrace at the bottom of the crater. After, the lava lake subsided in a new deep pit stabilizing a few meters lower than its previous level. This page shows detailed compariosons which allow to evaluate its evolution in at least six months. All reported focal lengths should be multiplied by a factor 1.5 to be referred to usual 24x36mm film format.
