Oia at sunset
As usual on summer evenings tourists gather in Oia to watch the sunset from the ruined fortress of Argyri. Much of Oia was destroyed by the great earthquake of 1956, but extensive restoration has once again produced a spectacularly beautiful town on the caldera edge.
