What's it about?

Using Goebbels’s description of the Reich Ministry of Popular Enlightenment and Propaganda as a basis, students research one particular aspect of the Ministry by focusing on one of the four topics: 1) art and literature 2) film 3) radio 4) the press. The handouts contain various sources on each topic, ranging from official directives and publications to diary entries. Students should read their handout (they might also want to research their topic a bit further) and present their topic to the rest of the class.
