In the school of San Vincenzo eager pupils of all ages are taught at once in various subjects. A geography lesson gets everybody very interested: A world maps shows how tiny the island of Stromboli is compared to the Italian mainland or, indeed, the world. Great opportunities seem to be elsewhere, not on Stromboli.
