Punta Lena

Southernmost part of the island: The small plain in the foreground and the slopes above it were settled and cultivated in the past. Geologically this is one of the oldest parts of Stromboli. Therefore some fairly deep erosional trenches have developped. Particularly deep is 'i Cavoni', in the center of this view.
